I woke up today at 9:00 am and it has been raining all day – part of me likes being inside on a rainy day, hearing the sound of rain on the roof, it feels so peaceful. It is probably one of the reasons why I like having it play on my phone when I have difficulty getting to sleep at night – play an audio clip of rain and I drift off to sleep. Thet Metservice says the weather will get better later on tonight but given how topsey-turvery things have been when it comes to forecasting, I’ll play it by ear and see how things turn out.
For dinner tonight after work I’ve got some chilli I froze a couple of weeks ago and I want to eat that up before it can get a bit nasty – even when frozen I have found that the quality reduces the longer it is in the frezer. I’ve also got out some Buffalo Chicken pies to defroast on the counter – I’ll be logging off in around 5 hours which should be more than enough time to let them defrost and worse case scenario if the pies aren’t defrosted by the time I log off I can always put them in the microwave to complete the defrosting.
