Work today went fairly quickly and for the last couple of hours I had some time off answering the phones to get some office work done. If I had the choice of not having to answer a phone all day and instead focus on paperwork then I’d be a very happy chap – the same reason why, when I worked at the bank, if there was the opportunity to work in a non-customer facing role I would jump at that opportunity but too bad those sorts of jobs are highly sort after and the only time a position is available is if someone leaves and the list of those applying is huge.

I went for a walk tonight, the weather wasn’t too bad and it was fairly quiet but the fresh air felt good after being stuck inside all day – the one opportunity to get out of the house and move about. Sometimes I don’t feel motiviated but then I remind myself how good I feel after coming back from going for a 8-12km walk so I end up getting out of the house. I’m wearing my ulra baggy hoodie which allows me to cover my hands in the sleeves since I don’t have any winter gloves at the moment – that is something I need to buy myself.

uBlock Origin Lite Version 2025.725.1450 has been made available with Microsoft Edge once again having it available in their extension store before Chrome – I assume the development team submit them both at around the same time which makes me wonder why/how Microsoft can approve extensions so much quicker than Google. Personally, I would be open to use Microsoft services if it weren’t for the arbitrary way in which certain features don’t work with business editions of Office 365 (Samsung Gallery synchronisation with OneDrive, Microsoft Phone Link only working with consumer accounts etc). It’s the one thing that keeps me in the Google ecosystem which is the fact that all accounts are the same, what works with a consumer account works with a Workspace account.

I’ve found a new television series called ‘Sandman’ – I’ve started watching a few minutes of the first episode of the first season so it’ll be interesting to see what it’ll be like. There are a few others that I’m looking at watching – it’s funny how in the past it used to be movies that would be the main draw but these days I much prefer watching television series with ideas that are spread over several episodes or seasons where ideas can be fully developed rather than trying to squeeze everything into a single release.
