Just a short blog post tonight, I came back from my nightly power walk and sat down to watch ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’, I understand he isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but as my old man would say to me that it is important to listen to people that you don’t agree with – to hear the other side. This is the reason why I have books by Ayn Rand where I complete disagree with her whole Objectivist philosophy but given the number of people who subscribe to it from the right it is important to understand what sits under their world view, what shapes it and ultimately why they create the policies they do.
