Went for my walk today but I decided to go for a shorter walk of 6km but I still get out to have a walk – Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. A few people I follow on YouTube regarding diet and exercise emphasise moderation and doing what you can rather than fixating on some unattainable and unrealistic ‘perfection’ then getting depressed when you don’t meet that unattainable and unrealistic ‘perfection’. Something I have to keep reminding myself to get out and have a small walk – a small walk is better than having no walk at all.
I finally got motivated enough and did the washing because the day is warm with lots of sunshine and a little bit of wind – put the washing out at around midday and by the time of writing this post I’ve taken the clothes in and all of them are dry. Part of getting into a good routine is taking advantage of the day to get clothes washed and dry rather than trying on the clothes drying on a clothes horse and having the dehumidifier going to ensure that the house doesn’t get damp as the clothes are drying.
Something interesting I came across that Google has fixed is the downloads page where as previously if you deleted the download the link to the document would still be ‘live’ in the downloads page but with the recent update it is now greyed out with a line through it like it used to. I originally thought it may have been just a bug with the Chrome build on macOS but I also noticed that the same bug appeared on Windows as well but on both platforms the issue has been resolved.
